Authentic Arts & Crafts firescreen with wonderful painting in original gong-style with original copper hand-hammered hardware! Really nice original oak Arts & Crafts style frame and oil on board painting signed and dated E. Gordon 1927 in the most incredible mission oak gong-style frame. The frame looks like a Japanese Torii frame.A Torii is a traditional Japanese gate that is most commonly found at the entrance of or within a Shinto shrine. In it's original, untouched condition. There are a few dings on the frame and the painting could use a good cleaning as we have not touched it. The frame measures 42" tall by 31" at its widest and the painting is in its own frame that is hanging from copper hardware and it measures 28 1/2" high, 24 1/2" wide at the bottom, and 18 wide at the top.
